For individuals who feel that the Republican Party does not represent them, and the Democratic Party lacks a cohesive message, this group will allow us to put our heads together and discuss various current events and public policies. Progressive individuals from all walks of life are encouraged to raise level of public discourse in this country. Share thoughts, reflections, analyses, policy ideas, and anything else you think the may help the progressive cause. Comment on the others' ideas and help turn this group into a grassroots thinktank for democratic/progressive policies. Throughout much of the 20th century America was privileged to experience its march toward progress - a series of court cases and legislative victories to advance the causes of racial equality, women's rights, voting rights, and americans with disabilities. The progressive values that fueled those movements have been treatened by an overreaching majority. Only by establishing a progressive agenda and promoting progressive ideas can we reclaim America's future and revive social justice.
