It's called "DUE PROCESS". Eliminating yet another Constitutional Right of a U.S. Citizen. As far as Police Officers "Killing" people... They Kill Perp's" not Law Abiding Citizens. The Military Government is as crooked as it gets. Through Internet and phone spying the intention of the Drone Wars is to eliminate anyone who is a "POTENTIAL" threat to The U.S. Government. Key word... "POTENTIAL"... Thus if the Government deems necessary without factual proof to eliminate you from existence they now can with the Drone Wars. Opti...so good to see you here! Yes "Due Process" as United States Citizen. Due Process......what don't people understand about this? Put in a situation where they were not given Due Process they might learn ya think? We are critics of foreign countries holding our citizens without reason and a trial yet I see where this Administration is given the thumbs up to do whatever they deem necessary to benefit their agendas.

No biggie, the list he gives are "KNOWN" Perp's.. everyone of them. Just because they didn't have a gun at that time doesn't mean they never committed horrific crimes... A Police Officer has to protect the Community and Him-Herself.

We just had this happen the other day on our Main Street... A man from another state was asked by the cops if he had a weapon... The man said yes, but wouldnt stop... The cop tried to stop him and was stabbed.. Then the man was shot and died...This all took place RIGHT across the street from the Police Dept... Can you believe it?
I have noticed that it seems to be happening more and more... I think its a way of getting someone else to kill you because the person may have a Death Wish...I mean it the cop tells you to stop, then why, didnt he stop...?

Perhaps the gun was illegal....not registered or he was a felon not able to carry a gun. I would have stopped. Heck if you are legal what's the problem. Right?

Since 9/11, the quality of policemen has declined, not just in The US, but in most of the world. It seems, people that normally would be screened out are now hired. State coffers are depleted by settlements of "wrongful death suits." Even George Zimmerman should never been admitted into The Neighborhood Watch. I stopped visiting The UK after being patted down several times by Bobbies in London, because of paranoid suspicions about cameras, one of whom could be classified as an ignorant "redneck."

Carl, I disagree with your assumption of the 9-11 situations even being involved. I know too much again. I was in the Coast Guard Reserve at San Pedro (basically LA) in 1963 – 68. I was in the Port Security unit and so were about 10 LAPD cops. We didn’t talk very much at all however, they openly discussed going down to some bar in the South Central part of LA and bang a few heads together just to let them know that they were still there. That happened more than once. Do I care? No, as that’s what they on both sides do, sell drugs and get your head banged in. Those cops knew that and couldn’t ever get the evidence to convict.

Then there was that famous ‘The 1992 Los Angeles riots’ or as I heard it ‘Party Time.’ We’re going down town to pick up some TV’s the kids said. I knew who said those things, as well as I was in no position to stop any of that action at all, for it really was like ‘Party Time’ and many kids were doing that.

Where I lived was actually in LA County and almost everyone around us said that they were happy that the LA County Sheriff watched over us and not the LAPD. If one really knows that area in total of LA actually only about 10% of the crime is actually addressed, and yes the LAPD is always on the so called hook, for not doing enough. However, prejudges are also great on all sides there, not as bad as they are in the South of the USA, however, still somewhat great.

But you are still correct in some of what you said in my opinion.

I am confused also. I did not get the idea from the Constitution that American citizens can fight against this country, can kill their fellow citizens in terrorist actions, doing it under the color of law...

For a long time the "due process" turned into a circus which is as valid as Stalin area due process was. We have to keep in mind that during the terrible years of Stalinist Soviet Union, people were put on trial before being sent to the Gulag. They had their days in court, and they even had a lawyer, who most of the times advised them to accept the charges...

The truth of the matter is that now with the Soviet Union gone, we have to have a reminder of how things used to be, and the US is it!
